• Hello, and welcome to CS 111! We've got a great group of TAs this year and are going to have a magnificent time. I look forward to meeting all of you.
  Some facts about me: I wrote my first computer program when I was about fourteen years old, a chatbot written in gw-basic that tried to be artificially intelligent but was mostly just obnoxious. Thirty years later, I'm still writing chatbots, although now I do it in Python using neural networks, and we call it conversational AI. I also write science fiction, dabble in piano, and occasionally play Beat Saber. I have six kids, including a pair of three-year-old twins.

• Welcome! I'm very excited to teach CS 111 alongside a hand-picked group of awesome TAs.
  About me: My background is in software engineering and security. I spent a decade in industry before coming to BYU in Fall 2019. I have been teaching CS 142, 236, 329, & 465. Now I get to swap in CS 111 for 142. My hobbies—varying levels of ability— are currently: reading, writing, drawing, gardening, racquetball, piano, and banjo, as well as spending time with my wife and two kids.

Teaching Assistants (TAs), focus their teaching efforts on a particular component of the course, such as sections, exam prep, or walkthrough videos. Head TAs additionally manage a broader component of the course, such as logistics, content, software, office hours, etc.

• Hello! I'm Easton! I'm a senior in the computer science program here at BYU and I love all things code. The only thing I enjoy more than coding is spending time with people, especially those I'm close with. I enjoy brain teasers and puzzles, especially if they involve code, I'm a huge fan of being outside (when it's warm), and I'm a sucker for good dancing. I can't wait to work with all of you!

Vigynesh Bhatt
